I happen to have the luxury of having a friend in the band, which has brought me to be able to see them live and listen to their music when I please. I've grown to really love the stuff! Whether you're for the message their tunes bring or not, it's great music to listen to, and great to relate to as well. I'm not just some chick trying to promote her friend's band. I choose to spread their word willingly, because I believe their talent makes them deserving of it. And, I think you may like it, depending on what music you're into. In all probability, the best description you'd get of it would be hardcore alternatve... So if you're into that, please add them! (: The guys... I met em. I've hung with em. They're all suuuper nice. If anyone is deserving of a little push, I think it's them. I know they're headed down the right path and have the right idea.

[sigh] Snowstorms and such.

That's why I have been gone for the past couple of days... the snowstorm. Haven't had one so sucky since '78 so says my mom. Jeezz. Trees are everywhere in our yard and we had to buy a generator just to have any electricity for the next two weeks. School was out everyday this week. Everyone thinks that is a good thing but it isn't. That's two weeks this quarter I have NOT had to bring my (kind of) bad grades up. Also, this week was the kick-off for "Pennies for Patients", an organization used to donate money for kids with blood cancer. Not to mention, the winning class gets a special lunch for the whole week :] Call me selfish! I just gotta enjoy that fact...

Anyway you have no idea what I'm talking about probably so I'll shut up. Here's my apology for not being on here for a few days...

I hate my gym teacher.

He is a sexist homophobe who hassles any guy that doesn't dress to his satisfaction. For example, my best friend, got hassled by him and the middle school gym teacher earlier today. They were asking him what the purpose of his outfit was. "So I'm not naked," he said. Haha. It's great.. an eleventh grade boy outwitting two twenty-seven year olds. They went on, asking him what he would label himself as. He said he didn't believe in labeling people and they boasted with laughter at him. Can you believe that? They asked him what he would call a man in cowboy boots, a cowboy hat, and [something else I can't remember]. "A cowboy." "Well, see. You just labeled somebody."

If I were imagining this instead of hearing about it from my friend, then I would have imagined him and I telling off the both of those immature s.o.b.'s and getting sent to ISS (in school suspension) together.

It sucks, it really does. People shouldn't treat people like that when they don't even know what they have to go through in their everyday lives;; they shouldn't just throw crap at kids 'cuz they don't like their clothes or the fact they wear make-up or something. Actually, no. Let me rephrase...

Two grown men who are members of a school staff shouldn't act in such an immature way toward a student or encourage stereotyping toward a student. It's ridiculous.

..... I have become so impatient with society. Where's the equality? The acceptance to different sexualities and races? Etceterah, etceterahhh...

Hola People! Happy New Year's Eve!!!

Wow. I can not believe it. This year passed by faster than any other year. Come on... you know it seemed like just yesterday (literally) when you were watching Fall Out Boy live at Times Square and then counted down the seconds til the ball dropped! Or maybe you weren't stuck at your house with your dad and were out with friends xD

I hate that this year passed by so fast and I feel so unaccomplished. My grades dropped. =O I didn't become much nicer. I don't even feel that much smarter. Gosh...

But that isn't going to stop me from making myself a better person in 'o9. I'm excited!

My New Year's resolutions!! :

Sadly that is all I can think of. There are so many ways to improve myself and I probably won't realize 90% of those things until I make some sort of a mistake =/

What is that supposed to even mean?

Someone is 60 years old and really healthy and happy. You see them in the morning and they are their naturally careless and big-hearted self, jolly and ready for what is thrown at them next. That same day, you hear that he/she depressingly dies as soon as they get home. There is no logical reason whatsoever. And everyone tells you, "It was just their time to go". That gets on my nerves.

I need answers. REAL answers. Not this crap. Because I know that someone doesn't just die because, "It's time". I don't mean to sound overly practical or anything, but it doesn't magically work like that. There MUST be an explanation.

A Little Update on the Twilight sequel, "New Moon"....

Today was a wonderful day for shopping, despite the insane traffic considering all the after-Christmas sales. I finished my little shopping trip off with a small trip to Wal-Mart and of course, a Life & Style Magazine with Robert Pattison on the cover caught my eye xD The mag was actually saying stuff about all of the members, especially Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black), but they probably put Rob on the cover as bait for all the fangirls (and fans!), like myself, to buy.

Page 29 is saying stuff that I'm surprised I never heard! For example, they might be replacing Lautner for and older guy? I'm a little upset, I'd have to admit, but I don't think recasting is AS darastic as some are making it out to be. The same page says something about a group on Facebook being launched, called "Save Taylor Now!" and "twi-hards" are even starting petitions to keep him in the sequel, "New Moon", airing in November '09. Your thoughts?

Something else I heard ... this one really had frustrated me ... is that producers of the sequel are thinking about changing the book dramatically. For example, Edward.. not even leaving! Sure, that's the part that made everybody cry when they read, but that was also one of the, if not the biggest part in the book-- Bella missing Edward and having Jacob there to make herself feel better... that moment when Bella jumped off of the cliff, starting that panic about everyone thinking she was committing suicide... which led to Bella going to Italy and stopping Edward from provoking the Volturi. It all revolved around him leaving!

What's Changing from the original New Moon story line?

Meyer's second novel in the four-part vampire series has Edward, Rob's character, leaving Forks, Washington, and returning only at the very end -- but producers aren't letting their heartthrob go. "They want to find a way to give Robert a bigger role than the book calls for," reveals an insider.

Despite all this ^ , Stephenie Meyer insists changes won't be major and states, "Torches and pitchforks are not going to be necessary". So yeah, that's what confuses me.... hmm... I don't really know.
